Christmas Pudding Treats Recipe

Ingredients

  • 100g bag Dr. Oetker Plain Chocolate Chips
  • 350g (12oz) fruit cake, crumbled
  • 2 tbsp dark rum or freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 50g (2oz) Dr. Oetker White Chocolate Chips
  • Dr. Oetker Christmas Petit Four Cases

To decorate

  • Dr. Oetker Writing Icing (red and green)

Method

  1. Melt Plain Chocolate Chips as instructed on the pack.  Stir in the cake crumbs and rum or orange juice.
  2. Mix well, allow to cool, cover and chill for 30 minutes.
  3. Form chilled mixture into 15 balls.  Melt White Chocolate Chips as instructed on pack and spoon a little on top of each to resemble brandy sauce.  Chill for 30 minutes until set.
  4. Decorate with Writing Icing to make holly leaves and berries.  Place in Christmas Petit Four cases to serve.
