Honey & Orange Glazed Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 15ml (1 tbsp) oil
  • 4 spring onions, chopped
  • 45ml (3 tbsp) clear honey
  • 45ml (3 tbsp) water
  • 30ml (2 tbsp) soy sauce
  • 10ml (2tsp) Dr. Oetker Natural Orange Extract

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan, add spring onions and fry for 2 minutes until the onions are soft.
  2. Add the honey, soy sauce, water and Natural Orange Extract and bring to the boil.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a shallow roasting tin and pour the mixture over the chicken.
  4. Bake uncovered at 190ºC/375ºF/Gas Mark 5 for approx. 45 minutes until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
  5. Baste the chicken a couple of times throughout the cooking time with the honey glaze to keep the chicken moist.
  6. Serve with roast potatoes and vegetables or baked potatoes and salad.
