Pond Water Jelly recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 sachet Dr. Oetker Powdered Gelatine or 4 sheets of SuperCook Select Leaf Gelatine
  • 500ml (16fl.oz) chocolate flavoured milk drink, chilled
  • 16 small jelly bugs or snakes
  • 135g packet green jelly
  • a few pieces of Dr. Oetker Angelica
  • Dr. Oetker Sugar Flowers

Method

  1. Place 125ml (4fl.oz) hot water in a small bowl and sprinkle over the Gelatine.
  2. Stir until well mixed and dissolved. Stir in chocolate milk and divide between 8 clear, small shallow bowls (alternatively, this recipe works really well made in one large, clear bowl).
  3. Chill chocolate milk jelly for 30 – 40 minutes until just beginning to set. Gently press jelly bugs or snakes on top of chocolate milk jelly and put back in fridge until completely set.
  4. Make up green jelly according to pack instructions and divide between the jellies. Chill until firm.
  5. Slice Angelica into thin strips and push a few strands into top of each jelly to resemble a clump of reeds. Place fish or frog sweets on top of jellies and add Sugar Flowers as water lilies.

Makes: 8 individual or 1 large jelly
