Pond Water Jelly
Ingredients
- 1 sachet Dr. Oetker Powdered Gelatine or 4 sheets of SuperCook Select Leaf Gelatine
- 500ml (16fl.oz) chocolate flavoured milk drink, chilled
- 16 small jelly bugs or snakes
- 135g packet green jelly
- a few pieces of Dr. Oetker Angelica
- Dr. Oetker Sugar Flowers
Method
- Place 125ml (4fl.oz) hot water in a small bowl and sprinkle over the Gelatine.
- Stir until well mixed and dissolved. Stir in chocolate milk and divide between 8 clear, small shallow bowls (alternatively, this recipe works really well made in one large, clear bowl).
- Chill chocolate milk jelly for 30 – 40 minutes until just beginning to set. Gently press jelly bugs or snakes on top of chocolate milk jelly and put back in fridge until completely set.
- Make up green jelly according to pack instructions and divide between the jellies. Chill until firm.
- Slice Angelica into thin strips and push a few strands into top of each jelly to resemble a clump of reeds. Place fish or frog sweets on top of jellies and add Sugar Flowers as water lilies.
Makes: 8 individual or 1 large jelly
