Chocolate Cornflake Cakes

Ingredients

  • 50g (2oz) margarine
  • 1½ tbsp golden syrup
  • 175g (6oz) Dr. Oetker Milk Continental Chocolate
  • 150g (5oz) cornflakes
  • 1 tsp Dr. Oetker Natural Vanilla Extract
  • Dr. Oetker Baking Cases

Method

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over a low heat.
  2. Add the golden syrup stirring constantly until mixed.
  3. Add the Milk Continental Chocolate and Natural Vanilla Extract and stir until blended then remove from the heat.
  4. Add the cornflakes and stir to coat evenly. For an interesting twist you could also add chopped dried apricots to the mixture.
  5. Place in Baking Cases and place in a fridge. Allow to set before serving.
