Make your own Halloween treats with SuperCook
Family favourites SuperCook have created a spooky new choco apple recipe - a perfect treat for the kids this Halloween.
Why not try a bit of quick and easy kitchen fun with the children and cook up these ghoulish delights – perfect for a Halloween party or to put in the trick or treat basket!
To make some ghoulish choco apples wash and pat dry four eating apples, and remove the stalk. Carefully push a wooden lolly stick into each apple. Melt a 200g sachet of SuperCook EasyChoc or SuperCook Scotbloc Chocolate Flavour Covering, and transfer to a small heatproof bowl.
Carefully dip each apple in the melted chocolate mixture, spooning over to thinly cover the apple as much as possible. Rest each apple in a tall tumbler to set - this will only take a short while. Push SuperCook White Mini Marshmallows into the choco covering on top of the apples just before it sets completely, to make spooky spikey hair. Once the choco covering has set, decorate with SuperCook Black, Orange and White Designer Icing tubes to make frightening faces. Alternatively, sprinkle the apples with SuperCook Spooky Sprinkles before the choco covering sets.
The delicious treats not only look the part but taste great too, so don your Halloween costumes and get your fangs stuck in.
